The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Education and Training Committee will organise the PATA Youth Symposia on the afternoon of September 13, at Chengdu Polytechnic, Huayuan Campus.
With the theme China, World and Your Career in Hospitality and Tourism, the Symposium will commence prior to the 2013 PATA Travel Mart and is aiming to attract hundreds of young professionals and students from overseas and around China.

“Next generation visitor economy professionals and students need to take proactive steps to build their career and expand their networking opportunities,” says Martin Craigs, PATA Chief Executive Officer. “This event is designed to provide students with an opportunity to share new ideas, learn about innovative concepts and most importantly give them a chance to make real connections with the industry.”

The programme was developed with guidance from Professor Kaye Chon, Dean, School of Hotel and Tourism Management, Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
