Kyoto Hotel Okuru has
invested in its restaurant facilities with the opening of new dining venues
around the city, which allow guests to dine around the world.
Kyoto Hotel Okura has announced a range of new off-property directly owned restaurant openings. The latest, slated to open on 1st July 2013, will be Kyoto Hotel Okura The Garden Okazaki. The restaurant is located in one of the most picturesque quartersKyoto with the
Higashiyama mountain range as backdrop.
Kyoto Hotel Okura The Garden Okazaki is surrounded by the landmark vermillion Heian Jingu Grand Shrine,Kyoto Municipal
Art Gallery ,
National Modern Art Gallery , a number of parks and the
duplex of Kyoto Kaikan Hall and Miyako Messe exhibition halls. Its location
means it is well placed to serve the needs of the new MICE area that is
expected to thrive with the opening of the rebuilt Kyoto Kaikan Hall in 2015.
The new restaurant will serve the best of Kyoto Hotel Okura's cuisine in a relaxed modern environment that is sure to appeal to discerning meeting planners. The facility, including an outside terrace that will be particularly popular on summer nights, has the capacity for 160 making it an ideal venue for business gala dinners and receptions.
The opening follows on from two other establishments which began serving at the end of 2012. IchinofunairiLa Terrace Ryoui - a
European inspired terrace with exterior seating overlooking the historic site
of Ichinofunairi, and Ichinofunairi Le Petit Suetomi – a specialist cafe where
traditional handmade Kyoto
confectionery can be enjoyed.
Establishments owned by Kyoto Hotel Okura are well known for offering first class dining experiences. Its flagship off-property restaurant Awatasanso earned a Michelin star in the 2012 and 2013 Red Guide toOsaka , Kyoto ,
Kobe and Nara .
