British
Airways is
launching a new direct service from Larnaca to London Gatwick,
expanding travellers’ options from and to Cyprus even more. The
Larnaca – Gatwick service will be available 3 times a week,
starting from June 30th 2013 and comes as an addition to the existing
daily flights from Larnaca to London Heathrow’s Terminal 5. British
Airways has also announced that it is extending its Paphos –
Gatwick service until November 29th 2013, a month longer than
previously advertised.
The flights to and from London Gatwick are already available for sale. The 3 times a week flights will be available every Monday, Thursday and Sunday at convenient hours, making connections to and from long-haul destinations even easier.
Ms. Freddie Stier, Commercial Manager of British Airways Cyprus-Greece said: “The new Larnaca-Gatwick service will provide Cypriot travellers and incoming tourists with more options to get to their destination. It will also allow for a more convenient two-way connectivity to other destinations in the BA network, from both Gatwick and Heathrow. We are very excited about this new service and we believe that it will help bring more travellers to Cyprus.”
