past decade, airlines have witnessed several economic challenges that
varied from political crisis, global economic recession, to natural
disasters as well as high fuel prices. Despite all the challenges,
aviation industry continues to improve. It was clear that throughout
the Middle East, passengers and cargo growth in 2012 averaged 15%, by
far the highest growth anywhere in the world. As a burgeoning region,
the Middle East is changing the way the aviation sector conducts
business – and is revolutionizing connectivity throughout the
world.
Governments
in Middle East & North Africa region have realized the importance
and value of aviation and its contribution to their national
