Executives of China's privately-owned Dalian Wanda Group are in USA looking for acquisition opportunities in the United States.
Wanda Group, which bought US-based movie theatre chain AMC Entertainment for USD$2.6 billion in September, will invest USD$10 billion in the United States over the next decade and is in talks with hotel brands for acquisitions.
Wang Jianlin, Wanda's chairman, said that they are in discussions with hotel management companies in the United States and are seeking opportunities for mergers and acquisitions especially in big cities such as Washington DC and New York City.
