Hilton opens first Tapestry Collection hotel in Vietnam

Hilton has opened NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, marking the debut of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand in Vietnam. The new resort introduces Hilton’s independent boutique  hotel collection to Hoi An, one of Central Vietnam’s most culturally significant destinations.

Located along the Co Co River in Cam Thanh village, the 174-room resort provides access to Hoi An Ancient Town, Cua Dai Beach and the Cam Thanh Nipa Forest. The property has been designed around slow-travel concepts, combining local craft heritage, regional gastronomy, and riverfront experiences.

“Vietnam continues to be one of South East  Asia’s most compelling travel markets, with destinations like Hoi An resonating strongly with travellers seeking stays that feel personal, culturally rich and connected to their surroundings,” said Alexandra Murray, area vice president and regional head of South East Asia, Hilton. “The debut of Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Hoi An broadens the lifestyle experiences we offer in the country, with a resort that reflects the pace, heritage and craft of Hoi An while delivering Hilton’s signature hospitality. It also marks another meaningful step in how we are growing our portfolio across South East Asia, with brands and hotels that respond to the character of each destination and the evolving preferences of our guests.”

Architecture inspired by Hoi An’s heritage

The resort takes its name from the Vietnamese words nhà, meaning home, and an, meaning peace. Together, NHAAN represents a sanctuary designed to encourage relaxation, connection and engagement with Hoi An’s living traditions.

Designed by Vietnamese architect Vo Trong Nghia, the resort features biophilic architecture that integrates natural materials with contemporary design. Panoramic windows, locally sourced stone and timber, and organic textures connect indoor spaces with the surrounding palm gardens and waterways.

The accommodation portfolio includes 174 guestrooms and suites, ranging from garden- and river-view rooms to deluxe and premium rooms with private balconies or direct pool access. The resort also features the one-bedroom Khang Suite and the NHAAN Presidential Suite.

For families and groups, 19 pairs of connecting rooms provide additional flexibility. Interior details include native textiles, local lanterns and artisanal pottery, reflecting the craftsmanship of nearby villages and Hoi An’s cultural identity.

Dining and wellness experiences

NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An features four dining and beverage venues inspired by Central Vietnam’s culinary traditions.

Keng Restaurant offers Vietnamese specialities and international cuisine throughout the day. Meanwhile, Plait Restaurant focuses on locally sourced seafood prepared over an open Korean grill in a riverside setting.

Bong Lounge draws inspiration from the 500-year craft heritage of Kim Bong Carpentry Village. The venue features hand-carved wooden details and operates as a daytime café before transforming into an evening cocktail lounge, serving drinks inspired by local coconut flavours.

Nipa Pool Bar completes the resort’s dining offering with a poolside setting serving light meals and refreshments overlooking the Cam Thanh waterways.

The resort also includes eforea spa & health club, located on the rooftop with views across the river landscape. The wellness facilities combine modern treatments with native herbs, while additional amenities include a 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor infinity pool, a yoga deck, and a Kids’ Club.

Cultural activities and event facilities

NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An offers a range of activities focused on local traditions and cultural discovery. Guests can participate in pottery-making, traditional woodcarving and lantern-making workshops, as well as explore the surrounding countryside through bicycle tours.

The resort also offers private experiences, including waterfront dinners and picnics by the beach or in the rice fields, as well as venues for weddings, corporate retreats, and social events.

The property’s event facilities include the 200-square-metre Hoi An Hall Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 148 guests, two 35-square-metre meeting rooms, a pre-function foyer and a riverside lawn for outdoor gatherings.
