WTE Miami 2026 opens registration as global travel industry prepares to meet

MIAMI – WTE Miami 2026 will bring together the global travel industry on 27-28 October 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, as destinations, travel suppliers and buyers explore the trends, technologies and partnerships shaping the future of tourism. Visitor registration for the exhibition is now open following the event’s acquisition earlier this year by Fairfest Media, with organisers expecting the event to double in size and impact.

The exhibition is expected to welcome more than 500 exhibitors, 7,000 buyers, 500 hosted and VIP buyers, and senior industry leaders from around the world. More than 20 National Tourism Organizations and Convention Bureaus, alongside representatives from over 70 countries, are expected to participate, making WTE Miami one of the most internationally diverse travel trade events in the Americas.

Simon Press, Managing Director International at Fairfest Inc., said: “The travel industry is entering one of the most significant periods of transformation in its history. Artificial intelligence is changing how travelers discover and book destinations. Consumer expectations continue to evolve, new distribution channels are emerging and competition for the American traveler has never been greater. The U.S. outbound and domestic travel market continues to thrive. WTE Miami has been created to give the North American travel industry the practical knowledge and global business connections needed to succeed in this rapidly changing environment.”

Travel advisor of the Future

The central theme of this year’s event is “Travel Advisor of the Future”, reflecting the changing role of travel advisors as technology, traveller expectations and distribution models continue to evolve.

The conference programme will feature more than 100 speakers across over 20 sessions examining developments in travel distribution, technology and sales. Topics will include the application of artificial intelligence in destination marketing, customer engagement and distribution, as well as U.S. consumer behaviour, outbound travel trends, the growing influence of travel advisors, social media, creator-led destination discovery and data-driven tourism marketing.

The programme is being developed in collaboration with Host Agency Reviews (HAR),the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) and the African Travel Association (ATA). According to the organisers, the sessions are designed to provide practical education, destination expertise and international industry perspectives, while helping travel professionals identify new business opportunities and strengthen commercial partnerships.

Business-focused marketplace

WTE Miami has been designed to facilitate commercial outcomes through a combination of pre-scheduled business meetings, networking opportunities and an executive conference programme. The exhibition will connect destinations, airlines, hotels, travel advisors, tour operators, technology providers and tourism organisations with qualified buyers seeking new products, partnerships and business opportunities.

The buyer programme is expected to generate more than 10,000 scheduled and on-site meetings between exhibitors and qualified buyers from across the U.S. travel market, including independent agencies, home-based travel advisors, host agencies and consortia.

Organisers state that the exhibition will provide international suppliers with access to one of the world’s largest outbound travel markets while supporting the development of long-term commercial relationships across North America.

WTE Miami 2026 is being delivered in collaboration with Miami International Airport (MIA) and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB). The event is also supported by international travel associations including SkålASTAATTA and ATA.
