The new platform allows customers to book accommodation at approximately 1.5 million hotels worldwide through an integrated booking interface. In addition to hotel reservations, customers can redeem Matmid Points for hotel stays while earning Matmid Points and Diamonds on every eligible booking.

According to EL AL, the platform is part of a long-term initiative designed to accompany customers throughout their entire journey, extending services beyond flights to include accommodation and, in future, destination experiences.
The airline plans to expand EL AL Travel by adding attractions and activities, enabling customers to book flights, hotels, tours, sporting events, shows and other destination experiences through a single platform.
The launch also broadens earning opportunities for members of the Matmid Frequent Flyer Program and FLY CARD credit cardholders, who can now accumulate and redeem Matmid Points and Diamonds on hotel bookings outside Israel.
The introduction of EL AL Travel will be supported by a marketing campaign across digital and traditional media featuring the airline’s brand ambassador Hanan Ben Ari alongside Amos Tamam. The campaign highlights the expanded opportunities to earn and redeem loyalty points across different travel services and introduces the first stage of the company’s wider travel platform strategy.
