Roam by Tauck launches expanded 2027 global portfolio

WILTON, CT – Roam by Tauck has opened bookings for its 2027 portfolio, expanding to a total of 12 itineraries worldwide following the launch of five journeys in 2026.

The expanded collection introduces seven new itineraries across Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Mozambique, Switzerland, Italy, Sicily and California, spanning land journeys and small ship cruising experiences.

Jennifer Tombaugh, CEO of Tauck, said: “We’re seeing strong early interest in 2027 departures from our travel advisors, who are excited about the opportunity to introduce a new generation of guests to guided travel and to Tauck,” she noted. “These journeys are designed for travelers balancing full lives who want to recharge and reconnect – combining immersive experiences, exceptional accommodations, and the freedom to explore at their own pace, all supported by Tauck’s expertise.”

The programme targets travellers in their 40s and 50s, offering small-group journeys with an average of 16 guests. Each itinerary combines guided experiences with independent exploration, supported by a dedicated Roam Director.

Among the new itineraries, “Tokyo, Kyoto & the Seto Inland Sea” is a 10-day journey in Japan featuring cultural and culinary experiences, while “New Zealand: North & South” offers a 12-day exploration of the country’s landscapes and outdoor activities.

The “South Africa & Mozambique” itinerary combines urban, safari and coastal experiences, while “Bern & the Matterhorn” focuses on Swiss heritage and alpine landscapes. In Italy, “Florence & the Tuscan Hills” highlights regional culture and gastronomy, while “Rome, Sicily & Malta” introduces a 12-day small ship cruise across Mediterranean destinations.

The portfolio also includes “Golden Gate & Wine Country,” a six-day journey in Northern California combining urban experiences with wine region visits.

All journeys include accommodation, airport transfers, luggage handling, gratuities, taxes and fees, alongside a range of included activities. Independent time is integrated into each itinerary, allowing guests to customise their experience.

First departures for the expanded Roam by Tauck portfolio are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
