Meininger Hotels is set to open a new hotel property in Dublin in 2028.
In partnership with Salamisso Developments, it will feature 232 rooms with a total of 811 beds, including 91 quadruple rooms and 33 six-bed rooms.
“The new location in Dublin strengthens our position in the British and Irish market and is an important component of our European growth strategy,” said Ajit Menon, CEO of Meininger Hotels.
“With the new property, we are responding to the strong demand and limited capacity in the local hotel sector.”
The new property is located in the Liberties district and just minutes from Dublin’s city centre.
It will be the second hotel in the UK and Ireland market for Meininger, after Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket.
Meininger has a portfolio 36 hybrid hotels across Europe, which offer both standard rooms and large family and group guest accommodations.
It has a presence in cities like Amsterdam, Milan, Berlin, Paris and Vienna.
