Club Med has confirmed a significant expansion of its North American presence with the development of Club Med Tremblant, a new premium ski-in/ski-out resort located just steps from the iconic village of Mont-Tremblant in Québec. Announced on 8 December 2025, the project marks the brand’s second Canadian property following the successful 2021 opening of Club Med Québec Charlevoix.
The development is the result of a three-way partnership between Club Med, Alderan and Station Mont-Tremblant, accompanied by a long-term lease agreement securing Club Med as resort operator and appointing the company as Delegated Project Manager. This gives Club Med full oversight of design, planning and execution.
“Canada continues to be a key market in our North American growth strategy,” said Carolyne Doyon, President & CEO of Club Med North America. “With the upcoming opening of Club Med Tremblant, we are thrilled to introduce a new destination offering an original premium all-inclusive mountain experience – providing immersive, one-of-a-kind vacations that have defined Club Med for decades.”
A contemporary Alpine-inspired resort
Anticipated to open in December 2028, Club Med Tremblant will be designed as a modern Alpine-inspired chalet village, blending playful charm with the warm, refined atmosphere characteristic of the brand’s premium mountain portfolio. Set in the Laurentians – one of North America’s best-known four-season destinations – the resort will offer access to world-class skiing, vibrant après-ski culture and year-round outdoor recreation.
Elevating the family and active-traveller experience
Club Med Tremblant will cater to families, active travellers and multigenerational groups. Planned features include:
- Ski-in/ski-out access with daily lift tickets included
- Gourmet dining inspired by Alpine heritage with regional Québec influences
- Kids Clubs for ages 4 months to 17 years
- Summer activities including hiking, water sports and nature discovery
- A full wellness offering with spa facilities and relaxation spaces
- Club Med’s signature GO teams, bringing multicultural hospitality and entertainment
Sustainability at the core of development
Club Med is working closely with the city of Mont-Tremblant to ensure responsible integration into the region’s natural and cultural environment. The resort is expected to support local economic development in an area that welcomes over 3 million visitors annually.
Club Med Tremblant will target LEED certification and Green Globe operational certification, embedding sustainable practices from design through long-term operations. This aligns with the company’s global Be Happy commitments and its standards for responsible tourism across its international resorts.
Strengthening the ski experience through partnership with Station Mont-Tremblant
Station Mont-Tremblant, recognised for offering some of the best ski instruction in North America, will play a central role in the resort experience. A partnership formalised in November 2025 ensures that Club Med guests will have access to:
- Highly skilled ski instructors
- Personalised lessons for all ages and skill levels
- Tailored programs that support beginner and advanced training
The agreement also includes major planned upgrades to mountain infrastructure, improving slope conditions, lift flow and guest amenities.
A key milestone in Club Med’s North American expansion
Following the strong performance of Club Med Québec Charlevoix, Club Med Tremblant represents a major milestone in the brand’s long-term strategy to expand across North America. The new resort is positioned to become the company’s flagship ski destination in the region, attracting travellers from Canada, the United States and international markets seeking premium all-inclusive mountain experiences.
With its blend of strategic partnerships, sustainable development, and enhanced ski and wellness offerings, Club Med Tremblant is set to reinforce the brand’s leadership in the global mountain resort sector and support Mont-Tremblant’s continued growth as a top-tier, year-round destination.
