On July 27 the Broadview Hotel will reopen its doors in Toronto for a soft opening and will later welcome guests once they start rolling out their offerings.

A lavish 58 guestrooms, lobby Café and Bar, a Rooftop lounge with views of the Toronto Skyline will be offered by the 126-year old boutique hotel located at the corner of Queen Street East.  The Civic, a ground floor restaurant will open late summer.

Les Mallins, president of Streetcar Developments, owner and developer of the property and hotel’s proprietor said that it was great to see visitors exploring and experiencing the fine aspects of the hotel.

He further added that we want to transform this place into a landmark hub that will reflect the east end culture. The building was earlier a sideline can now welcome more and more people.


The historic building has been beautifully reclaimed and brought back to glory which was earlier a beautiful and welcoming focal point of the neighbourhood.

DesignAgency, an award winning studio designed its rooms with bold, luxurious textiles. There are king sized beds with luxury linens and an evening turn down service ensuring guests are provided with maximum relaxation. The rooms offer terraces, mini bar, in-room vinyl record player and artwork from  Tata Art Projects, Project Gallery and local artists.

Sinopoli, executive chef said that our menus are distinct and the cuisines are inspired from Toronto’s past. Each menu will speak for itself and the focus will be on seasonal ingredients. The Café + Bar will offer exciting cocktails, roasted coffees, a wide section of pastries and a raw bar.

The rooftop is bound to be a visual treat for the customers providing a 360 degree uninterrupted view of the skyline and local east end neighbourhood from the top of the hotel. Guests can relish a laid back yet sophisticated space, they can eat or drink under open skies.

Lincoln Hall is another zone that offers three event spaces. It has exposed brickwood and steel-beams. The 3,000 square feet of event space on the second floor of the hotel has the capacity of accommodating 150 guests for seated dinners and 270 for cocktail receptions.

Lincoln terrace is a 1,000 Square foot outdoor extension of Lincoln Hall overlooking Queen Street East and The Tower has a vaulted ceiling with warm wood tones and historic windows for private dining.
