Peach Aviation Limited (“Peach”; Representative Director and CEO: Shinichi Inoue) is delighted to share the news that as of January 1, it will revamp the inflight “PEACH DELI” winter menu.
To commemorate the February 19 opening of its Naha-Bangkok route, the new PEACH DELI winter menu will introduce three new types of offerings with a taste of Thailand, which includes Takoyaki with a Pak Chi paste filling, which is popular among Japanese women.
Pak Chi is a food ingredient that has recently been becoming popular, particularly among women, and “Uchi- Pak” (Pak at home) is becoming the latest trend. Hoping to create a new trend of enjoying Pak Chi in the sky, Peach has decided to offer a “Sora-Pak” (Sky-Pak) menu.
Tom Yum Goong Takoyaki (5 pcs.) is a dish that was created through a collaboration between Peach, its home city of Osaka, and the signature food of Thailand. It was created through trial and error as an offering that can only be sampled aboard Peach. A bit spicy, the aroma of Pak Chi will spread throughout your mouth as you continue to munch. Besides octopus meat, the Takoyaki also contains prawns to offer the authentic taste of Tom Yung Goong. Other menu offerings will include “Nisshin Cup Noodles (Tom Yum Goong flavor; 400 yen)”, the delectable taste of creamy Tom Yum Goong soup and real Pak Chi.
Also to be included in the inflight menu offerings is “SINGHA Beer (with an accompaniment; 600 yen)”, which, together with Tom Yum Goong Takoyaki and Nisshin Cup Noodles (Tom Yum Goong flavor), are sure to enhance the aromatic fragrance of the spices.
