Swiss International has signed an agreement with the Al Zamil real estate group to develop the Swiss International Hotel & Resort at Al Qassim Touristic city project.
Al Zamil real estate group is one of the arms of the Zamil Group that develops residential communities and office commercial properties in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
The signing ceremony took place at the Governor’s Palace in the presence of Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud, the Governor of the Al Qassim Region.
Al-Qasim, or Gassim internationally, is one of the thirteen administrative regions of Saudi Arabia. Located at the heart of the country, and almost in the center of the Arabian Peninsula, it has a population of 1,370,727.
The Al Qassim touristic project is spread over 95,000 sqm land which is also said to be the biggest touristic project in the Al Qassim region. Al Qassim province is known for its rich heritage, nature and traditional crafts. Furthermore, its geographic location has made it a hub of diverse cultures and a variety of festivals. This serves as an opportunity for the hoteliers in the region.
The Swiss International Al Qassim touristic project will offer:
- Hotel of 135 rooms
- Restaurants: Swiss Café – Restaurant & Lounge, Grill room, Mediterranean restaurant
- Banquet Hall – Capacity of 1,000 persons
- One Tennis Court
- Conference Rooms
- Children entertainment center
