PALM SPRINGS, CA—The DoubleTree by Hilton Golf Resort Palm Springs, a contemporary 289-room full service hotel located a short distance from Downtown Palm Springs and just three miles from Palm Springs International Airport, has opened. Previously the Desert Princess Palm Springs Golf Resort, the property has recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation, including a total redesign of the lobby, guestrooms, meeting rooms and restaurants, as well as the addition of a new bar. DoubleTree by Hilton Golf Resort Palm Springs is managed by Evolution Hospitality.

The interior of the hotel, created by Los Angeles-based Rodrigo Vargas Design, was inspired by Palm Springs' beautiful landscape, marked by natural textures, granite, marble and walnut wood, and custom artwork throughout. The hotel's guestrooms and suites all have patios or balconies, 48-in. HDTVs, mini-refrigerators and the Sweet Dreams bed. Corner Suites offer upgraded furnishings, a separate bedroom, living room with dining area, second bathroom and expansive wrap-around balconies. The 1,100- sq.-ft. Presidential Suite is ideal for special events or extended-stays, offering all the amenities featured in the Corner Suites plus a breakfast bar and kitchenette. Complimentary amenities include WiFi throughout the hotel, an Olympic-size outdoor swimming pool, two hot tubs, a 24-hour fitness center with new LifeFitness equipment and a 24-hour business center.
Food & beverage options include Polanco Kitchen, which offers Southern Californian inspired fare with a Baja twist; the new Mira Bar, featuring signature cocktails and a selection of local craft beers; DoubleTree by Hilton's Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast; and room service.
Located adjacent to the hotel, the Desert Princess Palm Springs Country Club provides an resort amenities to DoubleTree by Hilton Golf Resort Palm Springs guests. In addition to the 27-hole championship golf course, full-service spa and tennis courts, the country club also offers a pro golf shop; driving range and putting green; Olympic-size swimming pool; and racquetball, basketball, bocce ball and pickleball courts.
Featuring 18,000 sq. ft. of flexible event space, including two ballrooms and 12 meeting rooms, DoubleTree by Hilton Golf Resort Palm Springs can host meetings and events of up to 580 people. Catering services and a dedicated events staff are available.
