The Latvian carrier airBaltic will offer convenient connections between New York JFK and airports in the Baltic Sea region thanks to an extended codeshare agreement with Uzbekistan Airways. Christophe Viatte, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic said, “We are pleased about expanding our code share agreement with Uzbekistan Airways, and thus being able to offer the much anticipated route to the global centre of fashion, finance, culture and art – New York City, to our customers from the Baltic region and beyond.”
airBaltic customers travelling between New York and Riga will board an Uzbekistan Airways Boeing 767 aircraft operated twice weekly, while the rest of the journey between Riga and any of the Baltic Sea airports will be served by airBaltic.
