City Cruises – London's number one sightseeing tour on the Thames - enjoyed a record breaking festive period in 2013. This growth has continued into the New Year with revenue for January 2014 departures recording an increase of 18%.
Over the festive period as a whole, trade sales experienced overall growth of 39%.
January figures show that this growth has continued into 2014, with tripping sales via piers up by 25% and tripping sales via trade partners showing significantly greater increases.
Due to exceptionally high demand in the run up to New Year’s Eve, City Cruises decided to increase their product offering, adding three new products to the initial four on offer: The New Year’s Eve Fireworks Cruise, The New Year’s Eve Celebration Cruise and the Thamesjet New Year’s Eve Fireworks VIP thus became part of the company’s increasing product portfolio.
The strong start to 2014 offers glimpse of what promises to be an extremely successful year to come for City Cruises.
