Reiterating
the reasons for choosing these cities, Campbell stated, “Qingdao
and Shenyang are very exiting additions to Scoot’s fast-growing
network. Qingdao, a coastal city of nearly 9m world famous for its
great beer, is regularly judged China’s most liveable city. Its mix
of historic German and modern architecture, seafood and proximity to
Lao Shan, the mountain considered one of the birthplaces of Buddhism,
offers something for all. Shenyang, at 13m the largest city in
Northeast China, is the spiritual home of the Qing Dynasty and, in
addition to being an important shopping and business destination, is
a strategic gateway to North East China.”
Scoot’s
network now comprises nine cities including Singapore, Sydney,
Gold Coast, Bangkok, Taipei, Tianjin, Tokyo, Qingdao and Shenyang,
with 24 more destinations offered in conjunction with partner
airlines Fares are available for booking at www.flyscoot.com or
