World Connect 2026 is expected to attract more than 400 participants, including representatives from 80 airlines. Around 100 airline executives from markets worldwide are scheduled to attend the three-day aviation industry event.
Jean-Louis Baroux, President of World Connect 2026, announced: “It is with great pleasure that we return to the recently renovated Fairmont Hotel in Monaco, which is being partially privatized for our event. We are confident that we will deliver a first-class welcome to all our participants”.
World Connect 2026 will address changes affecting the air transport sector and the development of sustainable growth across the aviation industry.
Baroux continued: “As in previous years, we expect to welcome more than 400 participants, including 80 airlines represented by around 100 of their respective executives from across the globe.”
The conference programme will include approximately 20 speakers from several countries. The participants will include internationally recognised executives and specialists presenting their perspectives on aviation industry developments.
Confirmed speakers include Sir Tim Clark, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Airlines; Pieter Elbers, former Chief Executive Officer of KLM and IndiGo; Roberto Alvo, Chief Executive Officer of LATAM; and Yannick Assouad, Chief Executive Officer of Thales Avionics.
Artificial intelligence technology will again be used to provide participants with simultaneous translation in several languages during the event.
Baroux concluded: “As in previous years, we will be using artificial intelligence to provide all our participants with simultaneous translation into several languages. As every year, we will also offer a classical piano recital by the winner of the Cortot Prize, who this year is Kotaro Shigemori, followed by our traditional Gala Dinner, which will be held in the magnificent Ballroom of the Fairmont for the enjoyment of our guests”
