The U.S. hotel industry reported another week of positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar data through Aug. 1.
July 26 through Aug. 1 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):
Occupancy: 71.3% (+2.6%)
ADR: $168.82 (+4.5%)
RevPAR: $120.45 (+7.3%)
Among the top 25 markets, Philadelphia saw the highest increases in ADR (+19.6% to $175.02) and RevPAR (+32.1% to $137.55). The market’s performance was helped by two Morgan Wallen concerts.
St. Louis reported the largest occupancy lift (+15.1% to 75.4%) and the second-highest gains in ADR (+13.5% to $140.98) and RevPAR (+30.6% to $106.27).
Las Vegas experienced the steepest declines across each of the three key performance metrics: occupancy (-11.7% to 66.2%), ADR (-6.2% to $145.87) and RevPAR (-17.1% to $96.63).
