The agreement will take effect on 1 February 2027 and broadens the existing collaboration between the airline and the Norwegian energy company.
Under the new arrangement, SAS will provide additional dedicated capacity and schedules aligned with Equinor’s corporate travel requirements. The agreement covers key domestic connections between Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim, Tromsø, Evenes and Haugesund.
It also includes routes covered by the joint venture between SAS and Singapore Airlines, supporting elements of Equinor’s international corporate travel programme.

The Equinor agreement follows a number of other corporate and public-sector contracts secured by SAS. The airline recently won a Norwegian government agreement with DFØ (Direktoratet for forvaltning og økonomistyring), covering high-volume domestic and European routes.
SAS will also participate in ONS in Stavanger during the conference week, maintaining a dedicated lounge in Hall 4 for meetings and networking activities. The lounge will be available to EuroBonus members, while non-members will be able to register at the entrance.
Van der Werff is also scheduled to participate in an ONS panel discussion titled Decarbonisation in hard to abate sectors on Wednesday, 26 August, from 11:30 to 12:30 at Clarion Hotel Energy.
The session will be moderated by Prof. Lynn Loo, CEO of the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation, and will include representatives from A.P. Moller – Maersk, Thyssenkrupp Steel and Hitachi Energy.
The panel will address investment requirements, technology solutions and regulatory frameworks related to decarbonisation and the energy transition in hard-to-abate industries.
