AIDA celebrated its 30th birthday with a parade in Hamburg (NOW with PICTURES)

 The Port of Hamburg was transformed into a stage for a nautical birthday celebration on June 7, 2026: AIDAperla, AIDAprima, and AIDAsol sailed together in a ship parade. Preparations began at 6:00 p.m., and the parade started promptly at 7:45 p.m. The route led through the heart of the Port of Hamburg, past the Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers) and the Überseebrücke (Overseas Bridge).

 The highlight of the evening was a colorful display showcasing the ships. The parade was one of the highlights of AIDA Cruises' anniversary year, creating a truly memorable experience and providing wonderful photo opportunities against the backdrop of the Port of Hamburg. Thousands of fans of the AIDA ships celebrated AIDA's 30th birthday on both sides of the Elbe River. Around 1.5 million guests currently travel with the company each year, and the fleet now comprises eleven ships.
