AIDA announces event cruises for 2027: “AIDA dances” in its fourth edition and “Crime & Sea” returns.

Rostock, June 18, 2026 For 2027, AIDA Cruises has announced two new voyages: “AIDA Dances” in January 2027 aboard AIDAcosma in the Canary Islands, and “Crime & Sea” in January 2027 on the Metropolitan Route with AIDAnova, departing from and returning to Hamburg. Both voyages address current demand trends and combine classic cruises with compelling experiential formats.

AIDA cruises offer a wealth of vacation possibilities. In addition to the diverse onboard offerings, select cruises feature special event formats within the “AIDA Specials” series, seamlessly blending the travel experience with a thematically curated program. During the voyage, guests benefit from the usual onboard amenities and services, supplemented by content specifically tailored to the respective theme.

“AIDA Dances” enters its fourth year in 2027: a themed cruise with “Let’s Dance” stars in the Canary Islands.

The highlight of the voyage is an extensive workshop and entertainment program featuring professional dancers, including numerous familiar faces from the TV show “Let’s Dance.” Headliners include judge and dance expert Joachim Llambi and entertainer Ross Antony, who will be presenting various formats on board. The lineup is rounded out by professional dancers and participants from the TV production, including Ekaterina Leonova, Malika Dzumaev, Mariia Maksina, Patricija and Alexandru Ionel, Renata and Valentin Lusin, Anastasia and Sergiu Maruster, and Evgeny Vinokurov and Nina Bezzubova. Other contributors include Joel Mattli and Paul Lorenz. The program features free dance classes in various areas of the ship, including the Cube and the Beach Club. Both standard and Latin dances such as cha-cha-cha, tango, and foxtrot, as well as modern styles, will be offered. The workshops cater to different experience levels and are complemented by show performances and evening events. The one-week cruise on AIDAcosma departs from and returns to Gran Canaria from January 16 to 23, 2027, circumnavigating the Canary Islands and visiting Madeira. The cruise is available from €615 per person (Premium price, double occupancy inside cabin, including early booking discount, limited availability).

“Crime & Sea” 2027: AIDA Cruises continues successful true-crime format on metropolitan itinerary

AIDA Cruises continues its “Crime & Sea” themed cruise in January 2027, further expanding its offering of event cruises in the true crime segment. The seven-day cruise on AIDAnova takes place from January 23 to 30, 2027 and combines a curated onboard program focused on criminology with a metropolitan itinerary departing from and returning to Hamburg. “Crime & Sea” taps into the ongoing trend surrounding true crime and translates it into a cruise environment. The focus is on contributions from external experts who offer insights into real and fictional criminal cases, as well as investigative work, forensics, and methods of bringing perpetrators to justice. The 2027 edition will once again feature a lineup of renowned guests from the fields of literature, podcasting, acting, and practical experience. The specific names will be announced by the company at a later date. Readings, lectures, and interactive formats are planned, offering diverse perspectives on the topic of crime. In addition to the stage program, workshops are planned where guests can delve deeper into specific aspects of criminal investigation – such as crime scene analysis, evidence collection, or crime reconstruction. Furthermore, prime-time programming and opportunities for direct interaction, such as book signings or panel discussions, are part of the concept. The tour includes stops in several European metropolises, including London (Southampton), Paris (Le Havre), Brussels (Zeebrugge), and Rotterdam. Crime-themed shore excursions will also be offered. The cruise is available from €775 per person (Premium price, double occupancy inside cabin, limited availability).
