Following the preliminary rounds of the FIFA World Cup in June 2026, the "Doppelpass on Cruise" format continues. On its voyage from July 3rd to 8th, 2026, departing from and returning to Warnemünde, AIDAmar will also become a floating fan zone: From fan talks and prediction games to quizzes and World Cup parties, a fantastic atmosphere is guaranteed. Guests can watch selected top matches on board in an exciting public viewing atmosphere on the pool deck, in the Theatrium, or in the Brauhaus (brewery). With well-known presenters and experts, guests can also expect in-depth analyses, entertaining discussions, and pre- and post-match reports on selected games from the final stages. The football entertainment is rounded off with a special act: The football freestylers present their show, which combines explosive tricks, perfect control, and choreographed show moments. In workshops, guests can learn what they've seen from the professionals themselves. Comedian Matze Knop is also on board, providing top-notch entertainment with his program.
The master of parody will, of course, include a few well-known football personalities in his performance. Musically, Marquess completes the onboard lineup: For 20 years, the band from Hanover has been delighting audiences with Spanish-language pop and hits like "Vayamos compañeros"—their catchy songs will create a true holiday feeling on the AIDA Fan Cruise.
In addition, guests on this voyage will be treated to a special nautical highlight. AIDAmar will sail from Warnemünde to the shipyard near Rotterdam for a dry dock stay for its routine certification renewal. The originally planned one-day shipyard stay had to be cancelled due to weather conditions and will now be rescheduled in Rotterdam. This approximately 24-hour stop will thus become a unique experience for guests, offering a completely new perspective on the fascination of cruise ships. After the certification renewal is completed, AIDAmar will continue its voyage and return to Warnemünde as scheduled on July 8, 2026.
Throughout the entire voyage, guests will, of course, enjoy the familiar AIDA vacation experience with diverse culinary offerings, relaxation in the Body & Soul Spa, and a varied entertainment program. A newly designed excursion program is also available for the Rotterdam stop. With "AIDA Fan Cruise – Home Game at Sea," a journey is being created that uniquely combines technical fascination, entertainment, and vacation enjoyment – an experience that guests will remember for a long time.
