Synect introduces EventReady solution for global airport demand surge

 

ORLANDO – Synect has introduced EventReady, an airport-wide passenger experience solution designed to support increasing passenger volumes as the United States prepares for a series of major global events.

Upcoming milestones including the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2028 Olympic Games, America’s 250th Anniversary and multiple Super Bowl events are expected to drive significant international travel demand. Airports will serve as the first and last point of contact for millions of visitors, increasing operational, reputational and commercial pressures on host destinations.

EventReady is positioned as a passenger engagement programme that supports clear communication and seamless journeys during peak, event-driven periods. The solution integrates custom event-branded visual content, wayfinding, passenger information and digital signage across key airport touchpoints, including arrival halls, gates, baggage claim and ground transportation areas.

The programme includes features such as multilingual wayfinding, mobile integration and AI-driven tools, enabling airports to adapt the experience based on operational requirements and passenger needs. Dynamic data feeds including FIDS, BIDS, GIDs and live event-related information are incorporated to keep passengers informed throughout their journey.

“Airports are about to enter a period of unprecedented global visibility,” said Montee Fiely, Head of Strategic Engagement at Synect. “The question is not whether major events are coming. It’s whether airports are prepared to deliver a seamless, welcoming and revenue-generating experience at scale.”

The EventReady solution is modular and can be tailored to each airport, with branding and content adapted to specific events, host cities, sponsors and operational areas. The approach aims to align passenger experience with the scale and identity of each event.

Airports can deploy EventReady through existing digital signage networks or integrate it with Synect’s Passenger360 Digital Content Management System (DCMS), which enables advanced orchestration and integration with airport systems such as flight information displays, resource management platforms and third-party technologies.

The solution can also incorporate ReadySeeGo®, Synect’s visual communication product, supporting rapid deployment of passenger messaging. To demonstrate application scenarios, Synect developed a fictional event case titled the Legend Tournament, illustrating how passenger touchpoints can be enhanced and how sponsorship integration can be implemented.

Preparation cycles for major events are already underway, with planning horizons extending beyond 2026. “Major global events are an opportunity for airports to demonstrate they are thinking ahead and designing experiences with passengers in mind,” said Yahav Ran, CEO of Synect. “This kind of preparation leads to clearer communication, stronger engagement and a better overall journey.”
