As we move through 2026, the latest ETOA Pulse Check highlights a tourism sector facing steady demand alongside a more complex operating environment. While appetite for travel remains resilient, businesses continue to encounter familiar challenges. Border and visa friction persists, taxes are rising and often unpredictable, and pressure on pricing and margins is growing. At the same time, constraints in connectivity, infrastructure and workforce availability are limiting growth. Despite this, our sector continues to adapt. However, members are clear on the need for better policy alignment, stronger coordination across the supply chain and more stable regulatory conditions. The outlook is cautiously positive, but navigating the months ahead will require flexibility and continued engagement across the industry. We continue to support members, engage with industry partners and raise industry concerns on a European, national and local level.
