AIDAperla will be part of Elbe in Concert
The cruise ship AIDAperla will be impressively showcased against the backdrop of the Elbe River in Hamburg during the Elbe in Concert show on Saturday evening, May 9th, 2026, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Between the musical performances on the floating stage, Thorsten Jost and Sina Rösner from AIDAradio will host the event and have some unique prizes in store: AIDAradio is holding a live contest in which viewers are invited to submit their best photo of AIDAperla during the Elbe in Concert show. Five pairs of seats on a tugboat for the grand AIDA birthday parade on June 7, 2026, are up for grabs, during which three AIDA ships will sail past the Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers).
A maritime experience weekend with an AI Picasso photo booth and family activities right next to the Elbphilharmonie
A maritime experience in the heart of the city: From Friday, May 8 to Sunday, May 10, 2026, AIDA invites you to a diverse weekend of activities and events at the Platz der Deutschen Einheit (Square of German Unity). On all three days, visitors can expect an open-access area with information, entertainment, and culinary offerings. The centerpiece is a show cabin from AIDAcosma with an integrated information and booking area. This is complemented by an interactive AI Picasso photo booth, where individually designed portraits are created and can be taken home immediately. Two Picasso robots add to the unique experience.
During the day, there's a children's play area, and the mascot Dodo makes a special appearance. A diverse selection of food and drinks invites visitors to linger: AIDA kiss-shaped waffles on a stick with various toppings, as well as freshly prepared pasta – either served from a Parmesan wheel with truffles or classically with tomato sauce. An AIDA prize draw and the popular AIDA "kissing stop" complete the offerings.
Every day from 6 p.m., visitors to the AIDA holiday world can enjoy onboard entertainment. LIVE BEATS provides musical entertainment with live elements such as saxophone and drums. The AIDA Holiday World is open Friday, May 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
