- This summer, the carrier will take passengers aboard its aircraft to such destinations as San Francisco, Almaty, Bergen, as well as Majorca and Crete.

As the summer flight network kicks off, LOT Polish Airlines has opened up a wide range of travel options for its passengers. In the S26 season, the national carrier not only will launch new routes, but is also restoring its well-known and popular seasonal destinations. From the Baltic Sea to Wawel Castle in 1 hour and 15 minutes
Four times a week – on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays – LOT passengers will enjoy comfortable flights from the north to the south of the country (or back) in just over an hour. Given that the holiday season brings increased road and rail traffic, the national carrier’s direct flights between Gdańsk and Kraków make for an excellent alternative for travellers. This means that passengers wishing to relax on the beaches of the Tri-City or explore the chambers of the Wawel Castle will enjoy their holiday even while still onboard the aircraft. Flights on this route will operate from 29 May to 28 September 2026.
Get ready for more flights from regional airports
Gdańsk is also a good starting point for a trip a little further afield. You can discover captivating Scandinavia, where the urban environment gives way to breathtaking natural landscapes. Bergen boasts a colourful harbour district and fish markets, whilst Oslo captivates visitors with its wealth of museums and the history enshrined in the neoclassical Royal Palace. When choosing cruises from Gdańsk, make sure to include Brussels in your itinerary. Not only is it the hub of the European Union’s key operations, but it is also a city brimming with extraordinary architecture. The inaugural flights to Brussels and Oslo are planned for 29 April 2026, while those heading to Bergen are scheduled to take off on 30 April 2026.

Another tempting deal from LOT Polish Airlines is the launch on 30 March of direct flights from Kraków to Barcelona, Madrid, and Rome. These cities offer some of the world's most highly acclaimed cuisines – Italian and Spanish – as well as the chance to enjoy the many attractions of European metropolises. In Barcelona, do take a walk in the footsteps of Gaudí; in the Spanish capital, don’t miss the fascinating architecture; and in Rome, explore the historic landmarks. With the launch of the flight to San Francisco on 6 May 2026, LOT Polish Airlines will take its passengers to yet another unique city in sunny California (aside from Los Angeles). The picture-postcard Golden Gate Bridge, the harbour district of Fisherman’s Wharf and Lombard Street – one of the world’s most winding streets – are just some of the attractions of this movie-famous city. Whilst in San Francisco, be sure to consider visiting the neighbouring Silicon Valley, one of the world’s top hubs for innovation and entrepreneurship. The west coast is therefore an excellent choice for both those who enjoy active holidays and those seeking peaceful relaxation.

Blue skies, azure waters, captivating historical monuments
For those who love sunny destinations, LOT offers flights to Heraklion. The capital of Crete is a city founded around 2,000 BC, so you can step back in time here by visiting the Palace of Knossos or the ruins of the Palace of Phaistos. The former is famous for the story of the mythical labyrinth, whilst the latter holds the secrets of the ancient Minoans’ culture. The WAW-HER-WAW route will be operated 3 times a week, with the inaugural flight taking off on 30 May 2026.
Three times a week, also from 30 May 2026, LOT Polish Airlines will fly to sunny Palma de Mallorca. Majorca is famous for its beaches, which perfectly capture the atmosphere of a dream holiday in paradise. However, sunbathing isn’t the only reason for tourists to come here. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Serra de Tramuntana mountains offer spectacular hiking trails and some of the most beautiful cycling routes in Europe.

A few days earlier, on 25 May, LOT Polish Airlines will launch flights to Porto. Passengers will now be able to fly there on the national carrier’s welcoming decks up to five times a week, so they can experience the Portuguese climate. The architecture here is simply mesmerising. It even inspired J.K. Rowling, who spent hours at Livraria Lello – one of the world's most beautiful bookshops – whilst creating the Harry Potter universe. It is also worth sampling the local cuisine, where the simplicity of the recipes goes hand in hand with the unique flavour of the dishes.
You can take off to Italian Bologna onboard LOT Polish Airlines as early as from 31 March! Operating nearly every day, these flights will enable passengers to discover this unique destination and sample the Italian cuisine so beloved by many. Elegant palaces rise up around Piazza Maggiore – the city's very heart – with nearly 40 km of historic arcades stretching out right in the centre; these are the city's hallmark and are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bologna's medieval towers, with the most famous ones – the Asinelli and Garisenda – have become the city's landmarks and an integral part of the city's landscape.
A relaxing break with a dash of the Orient
Almaty is Kazakhstan’s beating heart – a centre of culture, business, and art. The city enchants visitors with its posh boulevards, a wide range of restaurants and cafés, numerous museums, and art galleries. LOT Polish Airlines will operate flights to this unique destination four times a week, starting on 31 May. This is the perfect destination for anyone longing for mountain adventures and breathtaking scenery. The Zailiyskiy Alatau Mountains, surrounding the city to the south, offer numerous trekking trails of varying difficulty. One of the most picturesque is the one leading to Big Almaty Lake.

The summer flight network will see the return of well-known routes such as Warsaw–Split, Rzeszów–Newark, Krakow–Newark, Warsaw–Radom–Preveza and Warsaw–Radom–Rome. These destinations are the perfect complement to your holiday plans, whether you're looking for a longer holiday or a shorter city break. Croatia's Split enchants visitors with the blue of the Adriatic Sea, Greece's Preveza promises a blissful break, and Italy's Rome is the perfect destination for all history and art lovers.
