As the highlight of the exhibition, Air France will be unveiling its new La Première suite to the general public for the first time, giving everyone the opportunity to discover an exceptional travel experience.
With an original and light-filled scenography, the exhibition highlights the quintessence of travel according to Air France through five alcoves, echoing the five windows of the new suite. Each of these spaces offers visitors a moment of escape, where every detail celebrates the spirit of the airline and the art of travel, while showcasing a selection of treasures from the company’s rich heritage.
Visitors will be able to admire the company’s uniforms through the ages, designed by leading French couturiers such as Christian Dior, Cristóbal Balanciaga and Christian Lacroix. Air France will also showcase its tableware through the years, alongside its refined travel accessories.
The adventure of the Concorde, the iconic "white bird" which this year celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of its first commercial flight, will also be in the spotlight with an exhibition of items from the Concorde’s cabin interior created by the iconic French designer Andrée Putman.
The exhibition space will also feature rarely displayed pieces such as the iconic red dress with the long train designed by fashion designer Rabih Kayrouz, appearing in the Air France brand video. Another exceptional heritage piece, the “fine dining and tableware” dress, designed by Xavier Ronze, former head of the costume design workshops at the Paris Opera Ballet, and specially created for the airline’s 90th anniversary celebrations in 2023, will also be on display.
Finally, visitors will be able to explore the visual universe of Air France through the screening of the video retracing the entire La Première experience, its iconic advertising film, and excerpts from the documentary “Inside the Dream – Air France La Première”, offering an inside look into the creation of this unique travel experience.
