Online tours and experiences platform Klook has joined forces with Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau (OCTB).
The MoU aims to attract more visitors to travel throughout Osaka Prefecture.
The partnership brings together Klook’s data and digital infrastructure with OCTB’s on-the-ground destination expertise to enhance the Osaka visitor experience beyond the city.
Under the MoU, Klook and OCTB will collaborate on joint content development and online promotions, data sharing and analysis to better understand inbound travel behaviour.
They will explore sustainable tourism initiatives aimed at better managing visitor flows, and roll out relevant digital solutions to enhance the traveller convenience.
“Osaka tourism is currently at a structural turning point. Beyond simply increasing visitor numbers, it is essential to create experiential value across the entire prefecture,” says Hiroshi Mizohata, Chairman of Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau.
“This partnership aims to refine the unique strengths of each municipality into market-ready products.”
According to Klook’s Travel Pulse 2026 annual study, 48.6% of travellers planning a Japan trip hope to include Osaka in their itinerary.
It finds intent is stronger among Millennials.
OCTB says the city of Osaka is also evolving as a key gateway connecting travellers to surrounding regions.
Klook’s booking data echoes this with JR Kansai rail passes, Shinkansen train tickets and car rentals selling well.
The partnership will explore new technologies, including digital content solutions and audio guide options.

The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau is the regional destination management organization supported by Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, Sakai City, and the Kansai business community.
