The has designated its first group of Ambassadors and Champions under the ICAO Global Ambassadors Programme. These distinguished aviation leaders and experts will help raise awareness of the sector and inspire the next generation to become part of aviation, a field of opportunity, innovation, and global impact.
ICAO Global Ambassadors and Champions work across their respective countries and regions to promote aviation’s role in connecting communities and advancing sustainable development worldwide.
Through speaking engagements and community and digital outreach, Global Ambassadors introduce aviation to broad audiences and showcase the diverse career opportunities the sector offers. ICAO Champions lead strategic dialogue on talent development and workforce strategies, inspiring action toward policies that support a more inclusive and resilient aviation sector.
This programme supports ICAO’s vision for the future of international civil aviation and aligns with the priorities of its Strategic Plan, including attracting new talent and advancing a safe, secure, and sustainable air transport system for all.
