WorldTicket by GO7 launches IATA BSP operations in Armenia, completing Caucasus coverage

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – WorldTicket by GO7 has expanded its IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) network to Armenia, marking the company’s official go-live in the country and completing its BSP coverage across the Caucasus region. Through this launch, IATA-accredited travel agents in Armenia can now sell, issue, and settle WorldTicket’s W2 ticket stock directly via their existing BSP setup.

The new BSP integration enables Armenian travel agencies to process W2 tickets in Armenian dram, with instant ticketing and no additional technical configuration required. This allows agents to seamlessly incorporate WorldTicket content into their current workflows, simplifying operations while expanding access to a broad airline portfolio.

The Armenia launch follows recent BSP activations in Brazil and Uruguay and reflects WorldTicket by GO7’s wider strategy to simplify global airline connectivity. By making W2 ticketing available in local markets worldwide, the company aims to reduce complexity for agents while supporting airlines seeking broader distribution reach.

“Bringing W2 into BSP Armenia completes our network across the Caucasus region, alongside BSP Georgia and Azerbaijan, giving our partners greater access to a region that connects Europe and Asia. For airlines, Armenia represents an emerging market and a gateway to secondary and niche markets they often don’t serve directly,” said Peer Winter, Chief Distribution Officer at GO7.

WorldTicket by GO7 provides travel agencies with access to flight content from more than 150 airline partners through their standard GDS workflows. Tickets are issued using WorldTicket’s own ticketing code (W2), allowing agents to combine flights from multiple airlines on a single ticket while managing reporting and remittance through BSP.

In the Armenian market, all W2 ticket sales are processed with instant ticketing via W2-365. Agents can book both W2- and W1-marketed flight content directly in their GDS, create single-ticket itineraries that connect with partner airlines, and complete settlement in local currency through standard BSP procedures. This capability supports more flexible itinerary construction and reduces friction in multi-carrier bookings.

With its entry into Armenia, WorldTicket by GO7 closes a remaining gap in its regional BSP footprint and reinforces its mission to streamline ticketing, settlement, and global connectivity for IATA-accredited travel agents. The expansion further strengthens the company’s position as an enabler of efficient airline distribution across established and emerging markets alike.
