Destination AI will hold its third annual hospitality summit September 29–30, 2026, in Washington, D.C. The event is expanding to a 1.5-day format following what the organization says has been two years of strong attendance and interest.
“The energy and growth we’ve seen over the past two years of DAI has been incredible and the feedback from attendees, speakers and sponsors is that they want more ways to connect and discuss the unlimited growth opportunities that AI offers,” said Nazpari Aydin, co-founder/managing director, Destination AI Forum. “With the expanded program we’re putting together, next year is going to be our best year yet.”
DAI positions the summit as a forum focused on practical results and real use cases in AI adoption across hospitality. “This was an amazing one-day event, with a fantastic audience of thought leaders from across the hospitality space and sessions from so many top speakers,” said Douglas Rice, founder/CEO emeritus, HTNG, following the 2025 conference. “This was only its second year but from a thought-leadership point of view, there is absolutely no better event anywhere in the world today for hotel technologists and operators.”
According to DAI, more than 80% of attendees hold senior roles involving technology decisions and investment. Past participants have included hotel brands, management companies, ownership groups, technology providers, investors, consultants, media and industry associations.
George Roukas, president, Gaipan, said, “Destination AI turned ‘what if’ into ‘let’s go!’ It was the rare event where ideas, talent and momentum all showed up in the same room.”
Gopu Menon, EVP, revenue and distribution, Highgate Hotels, added, “I departed invigorated by the individuals I encountered, the insightful discussions we engaged in and the practical strategies we brought back with us.”
The 2026 program will open the afternoon of September 29, followed by an evening reception. The second day will offer keynotes, panels, demos and discussions on AI’s role in hospitality. Past speakers have come from companies including Marriott International, Hilton, Hyatt, Microsoft and Oracle
