
His Eminence Fra John Dunlap, Grand Master of the Order of Malta, awarded Mr. Mohammad El-Hout, Chairman and CEO of Middle East Airlines (MEA), the Order of Merit, Officer rank, at a ceremony organized by the Order of Malta in Lebanon. The award was presented by the President of the Order in Lebanon, Mr. Marwan Sehnaoui, in recognition of Mr. El-Hout's pioneering role in serving Lebanese society, his distinguished career that blends unwavering faith in Lebanon with a steadfast sense of responsibility, and his remarkable national and humanitarian achievements in service to Lebanon. In his address, Mr. Sehnaoui stated: "Mr. Mohammad El-Hout exemplifies dedicated leadership, combining high professional competence with genuine humanitarian commitment. He successfully led Middle East Airlines through the most challenging circumstances that Lebanon and the region have faced, maintaining its prominent national and economic role."
