Romana Echensperger is one of only a few Masters of Wine worldwide, as well a member of the prestigious Deutsche Lufthansa AG tasting team since 2023. Romana brings a wealth of expertise, passion and prestige to VIVA Cruises. During her collaboration with the river cruise specialist, she will be responsible for curating and redesigning the onboard wine selection, training crew members, and hosting exclusive wine events and themed cruises.

Romana will make her debut appearance aboard VIVA ENJOY, the newest ship in the fleet, during VIVA Cruises’ first-ever Gourmet Cruise from 20-24 November 2025.
