Premier Package Becomes Even More Luxurious
Premier Package now features a participating shore excursion credit – the amount increases with the duration of the cruise. For 6–9-day cruises, travellers will get $100; $200 for 10–20-day sailings; and a whopping $300 for anything over 21 days. Thanks to this update, travelers now have the flexibility to visit even more ports during their cruise.
Even without the shore excursion credits, the value offered by the Premier Package remains unparalleled with access to the Premier Beverage Package, specialty dining, and casual dining impacts unlimited, four-device Wi-Fi, OceanNow® – Princess’ delivery service with the service charge waived, and unlimited digital professional photos. You will also love the reserved seating for theater shows and daily crew appreciation — all of which ensure a truly unforgettable and relaxing experience on board.
Plus Package: More Dining and More Flexibility
Two more casual dining meals on voyages Up until now, the Plus Package has covered two casual dining meals per cruise, now that number has risen to four. This update makes sure that guests have more chances to love the amazing food on board whether it is a relaxed bite or more formal meal. As always Plus Beverage Package is the first of the core Amenities that Elite guests receive, along with single-stream Wi-Fi, notarized for OceanNow® and stateroom delivered Room Service and daily crew appreciation.
New Benefits and Streamlined Features
In a nod to the desires of guests, the cruise line has centered on delivering more valuable perks and done away with features that resonated less with fliers. In an effort to refine their packages and no longer include premium desserts, juice bar access, Medallion shipping, fitness classes, and Princess Prize (for kids) in the mix. Instead, it’s about writing checks for shore excursions, dining and flexibility — trying to make sure passengers get their money’s worth where it really matters.
Pricing and Availability
The new Premier Package is priced starting at $100 a person a day, up from $90 a day, while the Plus Package is now priced starting at $65 a person a day, a modest increase from its previous price of $60. For the new Sphere class ships like Sun Princess and Star Princess, Premier Package rates are $105 per person per day, and Plus Package rates are $70 per person per day. Savings range between 50-70% per guest off list prices for restaurant packages and between 40-60% per guest off list prices for other packages, and guests can select from four unique packages to ensure they can customize their culinary experience.
