    SKYTRAX 2025 WORLD AIRLINE AWARDS

The Skytrax World Airline Awards, often described by media as the aviation industry’s Oscars, were first presented in 1999 to provide a global benchmark of passenger satisfaction among airlines. Every year, travellers from across the globe participate in the industry’s most extensive passenger survey, voting for airlines they consider deserving of top recognition. All costs associated with the survey and awards are covered by Skytrax, and airlines incur no entry or participation fees.

LOT Polish Airlines has been steadily building its reputation across the region, and we’re delighted it’s been recognised as Best Airline in Eastern Europe at the Skytrax 2025 World Airline Awards. The airline continues to maintain its strong presence in the European market while consistently improving every aspect of the passenger journey. This achievement reflects passengers’ appreciation of the quality of service that LOT provides.

    Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax

The online survey, conducted from September 2024 to May 2025, attracted responses from passengers representing over 100 nationalities, with 22.3 million valid entries ultimately considered. All submissions underwent checks for IP addresses and user information, and duplicates, suspicious entries or those failing to meet criteria were removed. Covering more than 325 airlines, the survey was available in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.
