IHG Hotels & Resorts to Introduce Kimpton in Dubai Cementing Its Leadership in the Region with an Ambitious New Launch Scheduled for Early 2026

 IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in hospitality, has partnered with API Hotels & Resorts to bring the Kimpton brand to the UAE for the very first time. Slated for a grand opening in the first quarter of 2026, the new Kimpton Dubai will represent a significant milestone for IHG as it strengthens its presence in the Middle East, where the group already operates over one hundred and twenty-two properties with nearly forty-four thousand rooms spread across nine countries in the region.

Renowned for its signature blend of bold design, personalized service, and community-driven experiences, Kimpton has carved a strong identity across key markets in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Its arrival in Dubai underscores a rising preference among travelers for boutique, story-rich accommodations that offer more than just luxury — they offer a sense of belonging and distinctiveness in every stay.

Set beside the picturesque Business Bay Canal and just moments from the iconic Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, the upcoming Kimpton Dubai is poised to become a dynamic lifestyle destination in the heart of the city. Situated in one of Dubai’s most sought-after neighbourhoods, the location seamlessly blends luxury, leisure, and business appeal, drawing in an eclectic community of tourists, residents, and entrepreneurs.

The hotel will offer 280 beautifully designed rooms, comprising both standard accommodations and spacious suites. Guests will be treated to three distinct dining venues, each offering a signature experience, along with seven adaptable meeting spaces that include a grand ballroom. This venture represents the second strategic partnership between IHG Hotels & Resorts and API Hotels & Resorts, building on the success of InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay, which debuted in September 2024. IHG is also set to introduce the first Kimpton hotel in Riyadh, in collaboration with The King Abdullah Financial District Management and Development Company — a firm backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund — signaling the brand’s continued expansion across the Middle East.
