New routes landing at London Stansted in 2025

London Stansted is set to expand its European network further in 2025, offering passengers a wide array of new routes in France, the Netherlands, Turkiye, Greece, and Germany.

They include favourite city break destinations and lesser known off-the-beaten-track holiday options.

New routes include:

British Airways: Following its return to the airport last year with flights to Nice, Ibiza, and Florence, BA is launching a new service to Bergerac, France, in June. Situated in the southwest of the country, Bergerac is famed for its vineyards and countryside scenery.

Transavia: A brand-new airline for London Stansted, Transavia will debut with a route to Rotterdam, Netherlands, in April. This major port city is celebrated for its innovative architecture, rich cultural scene, and lively atmosphere.

SunExpress: Building on its success with new services last summer, Turkish carrier SunExpress will introduce a route to Kayseri, Turkiye, in July. Known as the gateway to the breathtaking Cappadocia region, Kayseri is a historic city renowned for its ancient architecture.

Jet2: London Stansted’s second-largest carrier, Jet2, will launch flights to Pula, Croatia, and Bergen, Norway, in May. The airline will also offer holiday packages to the scenic Greek islands of Poros, Aegina, and Leros, all accessible via Athens.

Ryanair: London Stansted’s largest airline, with over 150 destinations, is resuming flights to Lübeck, Germany, starting in summer 2025. This historic port city in northern Germany is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture. Ryanair will also launch new routes to Münster, Germany, starting in April, and Clermont-Ferrand, France, from March.

Simon Gorrighan, London Stansted’s Aviation Director, said: “We’re really excited about these new routes—they’re all about giving our passengers even more choice for their travels.”

“London Stansted serves more European destinations than any other UK airport, and these new services will further strengthen our route network.”
