Through this collaboration, The Cruise Maps will leverage AIS data tracking to follow Fred. Olsen’s fleet—comprising the smaller-sized ships Bolette, Borealis, and Balmoral—and craft bespoke voyage maps for guests. Each map captures the specific route of the cruise and can be personalized with notable events or milestones, allowing guests to commemorate their experiences. Additionally, guests have the option to add a custom title, making each map a one-of-a-kind memento.
James Moss, Cruise Product Manager at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:
“This exciting new partnership with The Cruise Maps really compliments our commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests, before, during and after their cruise.
“The creation of these bespoke maps further enhances that. What could be better than a personalised map of our guests’ cruise route, especially if it holds a special memory or milestone occasion such as a birthday or wedding anniversary.”
The maps aren’t limited to upcoming cruises; they can also commemorate past journeys. With tracking data available as far back as 2015, guests have the option to create keepsakes from voyages on former Fred. Olsen ships, including the Braemar, Black Watch, and Boudicca.
Matthew Jones, Co-founder of The Cruise Maps, said:
“We’re really excited to launch the official Fred. Olsen Cruise Map.
“This unique map captures the essence of the iconic Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines brand and will be the perfect keepsake for guests.”
Guests can purchase the maps in various formats, including prints, framed prints, digital versions, and even a cruise album for those who wish to collect multiple maps. Available online, these keepsakes start at just £30.
