Family-owned business Airport Parking and Hotels (APH.com), has acquired Highwayman Parking, which serves travellers using Cardiff Airport.
Highwayman Parking is also a family run business.
The off-airport car park is the closest independent parking to Cardiff Airport with a shuttle bus transfer of only five minutes available 24 hours a day.
Husband and wife management team Chris and Nicki Evans along with their staff, will transfer over to APH to ensure a seamless continuation.
Travellers using Cardiff Airport will continue to have the option of booking independent and affordable off-airport parking at Cardiff Airport under new APH ownership.
Also remaining will be the Highwayman Inn, a traditional Welsh pub located at the car park which offers food and beverages.
Derek Gaynor, Managing Director of the Gaynor Group and owner of the Highwayman car park said, “We’ve been working with APH for many years, and they were the perfect fit to take on ownership.”
I’m retiring but it’s an exciting time for the car park and the staff, who will all stay on and continue under the new APH management.”
Nick Caunter, Managing Director of Airport Parking and Hotels (APH.com), said, “APH is delighted to take the reins from Derek and his family and wish him the very best in his retirement.”
