Indian Hotels Company Announces New Taj Hotel in Gurugram, Cementing Its Commitment to Indian Hospitality Growth

 Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the largest hospitality chain in India, has announced the signing of a new Taj hotel in Gurugram, Haryana. This greenfield development will carry the prestigious Taj brand, demonstrating IHCL’s ongoing commitment to expanding its presence in significant Indian markets.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate & Development, IHCL, stated, “Gurgaon’s strategic location, coupled with its proximity to industrial corridors and Delhi-NCR, has made it a thriving commercial hub. This new development will offer a premium experience that caters to the diverse segments including both MICE and weddings. We are delighted to partner with Tivoli Group to develop this hotel.”

The hotel will offer 225 generously sized guest rooms and suites, all thoughtfully designed to prioritize luxury and comfort. Guests can enjoy a range of dining options, including an all-day restaurant, a bar, a specialty dining venue, and a versatile lounge area. Moreover, the property will feature extensive banquet and meeting spaces, as well as recreational facilities such as a gym, a spa, a swimming pool, and a social garden.

Gurugram’s strategic proximity to the National Capital Region (NCR) has fueled its evolution into a corporate hub, drawing in BPOs, IT firms, and multinational companies.

With the launch of this new hotel, IHCL’s presence in Haryana will grow to a total of six hotels, including two currently under development.
