 Hilton celebrates surpassing 8,000 hotels worldwide, marking a major milestone as new brands enhance its global portfolio and guest experiences.

Just a little over two years after reaching the milestone of its 7,000th hotel, Hilton has now surpassed 8,000 hotels worldwide.

This impressive growth comes on the heels of adding several notable brands to its portfolio, including NoMad, Graduate Hotels, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and Autocamp. Hilton is now offering hundreds of new opportunities for guests and owners to take advantage of its extensive global network.

As Hilton celebrates this 8,000-hotel milestone, here are eight key moments from this year that are driving its continued expansion and future growth.

Hilton’s Progress in 2024

  • February-April 2024: Hilton announces exclusive partnerships with Small Luxury Hotels of the World and AutoCamp, alongside the planned acquisition of Graduate Hotels and the completed acquisition of NoMad.
  • May 27, 2024: The Spark by Hilton brand goes international with the launch of Spark by Hilton Romford, marking its debut in the United Kingdom. With nearly 200 hotels in development, Spark by Hilton is also set to launch in Germany, Canada, and other countries soon.
  • June 3, 2024: Hilton reveals plans to double its lifestyle hotel portfolio to 700 properties by 2028 and confirms the successful acquisition of Graduate Hotels.
  • June 12-20, 2024: Hilton announces significant growth in its Caribbean and Latin America portfolio, with expectations to exceed 300 hotels within the next three years. Simultaneously, Hilton projects a doubling of its presence in Southeast Asia in the coming years.
  • July 9, 2024: Hilton expands its luxury hotel offerings by integrating properties from Small Luxury Hotels of the World, bringing the total number of luxury properties in its portfolio to over 500 worldwide.
