Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes offer transformative experiences in Mallorca

HONG KONG – Transformative travel experiences await in Mallorca with Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes through a new luxurious seven-night stay in one of their exquisite properties on the celebrated Spanish island, combined with enriching time exploring the region’s unique natural landscapes.

Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes are a hand-picked collection of the world’s most luxurious private vacation homes, operated in collaboration with StayOne. This new transformative experience, in partnership with Journeys With Purpose, connects discerning travellers with Mallorca’s most exclusive properties and its remarkable environment, immersing them in the island’s stunning natural beauty and ecological richness. The curated itinerary has been designed in collaboration with, and support of, Mallorca Preservation Foundation, a local NGO raising awareness for grassroot conservation initiatives.

The journey begins with a stay in a luxurious home, from the secluded charm of Can Catalina in Port d’Andratx to the cliffside serenity of Villa Puesta del Sol in Cala Llamp or the Art Deco haven of Ca’n Miquelet in Deià, all offering unparalleled comfort paired with exceptional Mandarin Oriental services.

Guests first embark on a guided hike through olive groves, secluded fincas and ancient monuments of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before a private wine tasting at Son Vich de Superna Estate. Nestled in the Superna Valley, an exclusive tour of their cellar and tasting room culminates in a private wine tasting set against a backdrop of panoramic mountain vistas. In the evening, the group returns to their home for al fresco dining and cocktails under the stars. The following morning, guests are whisked to Puerto Adriano for a private boat tour, accompanied by a seasoned marine biologist, to explore the pristine Toro Islands Marine Reserve. Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes have partnered with a local NGO to allow guests to discover the magical underwater world of these Mediterranean islets by engaging in conservation activities while diving or snorkelling, contributing to the preservation of the delicate marine ecosystem.

The boat tour ends with a delicious on-board lunch prepared in a secluded cove, before snorkelling gear and paddleboards let guests further explore the beauty of the Mediterranean. After returning to their private home, guests can choose from bespoke spa treatments to relax and unwind before enjoying locally-sourced cuisine, all exclusively prepared by their private Mandarin Oriental chef.

To conclude the transformative journey, guests visit a tranquil hillside finca and biological reserve in Pollenca, run by the Mediterranean Wildlife Foundation, to discover the art of beekeeping at the island’s first organic apiaries. Expert beekeeper Marti Mascaro reveals how premium honey is produced, the ecological significance of beekeeping and the conservation efforts being undertaken to support endangered species.

After a leisurely organic lunch, an intimate perfume-making experience promises reconnection with nature and Mallorca’s unique aromas through a private masterclass. Led by Viti Vinci, a boutique brand inspired by the island’s aromatic plants, guests delve into the creation of natural fragrances, learning about the restorative power of scents and benefits of native flora. For those looking to explore more of Mallorca, a dedicated Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes concierge will also be on hand throughout the stay to arrange a wealth of further experiences.

“We are thrilled to offer this unique experience that combines luxury with meaningful travel. Through our partnership with Journeys With Purpose, this experience will not only provide our guests with unforgettable memories but also foster a deeper connection with nature and the local community,” said Ersev Demiroz, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes.
