Ludo de Jong, an accomplished hotelier, has been appointed General Manager of Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel, bringing extensive experience in luxury hospitality leadership.
Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel, part of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World group, is excited to welcome Ludo de Jong as its new General Manager starting April 2024. De Jong, a seasoned professional from Minor Hotels, will enhance the hotel’s role as a key social and business center in the revitalized Docklands area, which boasts headquarters of major tech and finance companies, trendy eateries, and top-tier theaters.
De Jong’s career is marked by his leadership in significant hotel rebrandings, openings, and extensive renovations, establishing his properties as leaders in their respective markets. His dedication to team motivation has been instrumental in creating memorable experiences for guests. A culinary enthusiast, de Jong has played a crucial role in the inception and success of numerous celebrated dining venues, including those awarded Michelin stars.
With twenty years at the forefront of the luxury hospitality sector in The Netherlands, de Jong moves to Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel from his recent role as Cluster General Manager at NH Collection Barbizon Palace Amsterdam and Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam. His previous assignments include the launch of NH Collection Eindhoven Centre and a tenure as Assistant Hotel Director at the former NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. He also contributed to Marriott International’s event management advisory board during his senior role in F&B and events at Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel.

Ludo de Jong is actively involved in the European Hotel Managers Association (EHMA) and has been a dedicated volunteer at Rotary International since 2017. He also held a position on the board of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland Amsterdam (KHN), the primary representative body for hospitality enterprises in the Netherlands. Recently, he completed the esteemed General Managers Program at Cornell University in New York, reinforcing his commitment to pursuing excellence and leadership in the luxury hospitality industry.
