Enhance your Heathrow experience with Fast Track Security this summer

Heathrow Airport is reopening Fast Track Security for all passengers to purchase from 1 June

·     The service is available daily between 06:00am and 10:00pm for departures across all Heathrow terminals

·     Passengers can pre-book now to get their journey off to a swift start

Heathrow Airport is today announcing the relaunch of its Fast Track Security offering in time for what is expected to be its busiest summer ever, with the airport preparing to welcome over 30m passengers between June and September this year.

From June 1 departing passengers can use the service daily between 6:00am to 10:00pm across all Heathrow terminals, enabling a swift start to journeys and giving passengers more time to shop, dine and relax ahead of their flights.

Costing £12.50 per person, Fast Track - which is available to pre-book now on Heathrow.com - enables passengers to select a one-hour window to pass through security and gives them right up until midday on the day before travel to reserve. Fast Track continues to be automatically included for those with a business first Heathrow Express ticket, or for eligible frequent flyer card holders or passengers travelling in premium cabin. Passengers can check if Fast Track is already included for them on Heathrow.com or with their airline.

Ross Baker, Chief Customer Officer at Heathrow Airport, said:

“We’re thrilled to bring back our Fast Track Security booking service for all passengers ahead of the summer getaway. Fast Track offers a premium security experience, cutting down queue times, getting journeys off to smooth starts and giving passengers extra peace of mind ahead of their trips.”

Fast Track can provide extra confidence for passengers ahead of flights, however passengers can rest assured of a smooth journey at Heathrow this summer, with almost 99% waiting less than 10 minutes for security in the first quarter of the year.

In addition to Fast Track Security, passengers can enhance their Heathrow experience this summer by booking into one of our several airport lounges to kick-back and relax before departure. Checking-in with airlines online, wearing comfortable clothing, ensuring travel documents are easily accessible and fully charging electronic devices can also keep the airport journey hassle-free.

Heathrow recommends passengers on long-haul flights arrive no less than three hours before their departure time. For flights within the UK and Europe, two hours will be plenty of time to cruise through the terminal. Passengers can stay updated on their flight’s status by downloading the Heathrow App.
