Set to debut in July 2025, Celebration Key promises a day of paradise with numerous opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Ships from ten of Carnival’s U.S. homeports will visit this new destination.
“All five of our ships homeported in Miami will visit Celebration Key, so bringing our great travel advisor partners in South Florida together for this special event was a great way to deliver valuable insight to them as they help their clients plan their next vacations and the perfect way to start our business series,” Adolfo M. Perez, senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing at Carnival Cruise Line. “Travel advisors are experts on what cruisers want, so their overwhelmingly positive reaction reinforces my confidence that Celebration Key will be a truly premiere destination.”
In addition to insights from Perez, Glenn Aprile, Carnival’s Senior Director of Brand Experience and Product Development, shared the creative process behind Celebration Key’s development. The event featured large renderings of the destination, an authentic Bahamian Junkanoo performance, and Bahamas-inspired cuisine. Attendees received a ‘Golden Key’ for a chance to win an early access trip to Celebration Key or a $500 Carnival gift card. Ten grand prize winners and fifteen gift card winners will be announced throughout the summer series, with the first winners revealed at the kick-off event.
In collaboration with The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments, and Aviation, the series will continue with events in Baltimore on July 13, Atlanta on August 17, and Chicago on September 14, concluding with a virtual event on September 14.
