MADRID – The B2B distribution of activities and transfers is accelerating rapidly as more and more travellers book their experiences before heading off on holiday and therefore make their purchase via trusted sources such as a travel agent, tour operator or OTA says Servantrip, leading B2B tours, activities and transfer platform.
As proof of this the company confirms that it has observed a 75% increase in booking volume in the first five months of 2024 – this following record growth of 41% in sales during the 2023 vs 2022 year.
Manuel Núñez, Servantrip’s Founder and CEO, stated: “We are seeing a very clear trend emerging for consumers wanting to book that tour, museum, or theme park before they’ve even left their home – and often directly within the holiday package that they are booking. Saving time and stress, along with having certainty over both price and availability, seem to be the main driving force.
“We set up Servantrip eight years ago with the objective of offering travel sellers – online and offline – a distinctive platform that would enable them to access the most extensive product selection globally, with real-time availability, immediate confirmation, and the most competitive prices – but all before the traveller left their home, enabling trade sellers to offer the complete experience for their customers.
“Travel sellers need to take note of this or risk falling behind, whilst actual providers of tours & experiences need to recognize that B2B intermediated sales allows to boost sales out to the B2C channel without risks.B2B2C is an ever more important distribution route that cannot be ignored.”
