Seasoned hospitality industry leader Hugh Goodwin retires

 

MADRID, SPAIN – After decades of dedicated service and exemplary leadership in the hospitality sector, Director of Sales – Strategic Accounts for Palladium Hotel Group, Hugh Goodwin announces his well-deserved retirement. With a remarkable career spanning over five years at the company, Goodwin leaves behind a legacy of innovation, integrity, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Goodwin, who most recently served as the Director of Sales – Strategic Accounts for Palladium Hotel Group, held former roles as Director of Tour Operations at Playa Hotels & Resorts, LLC; Director of Sales, Wholesale North America at Posadas, USA, featuring the Fiesta Americana Brand Resorts & Hotels; Business Development Director – Tour, Cruise, & Golf Markets at World Access Service Corporation; and more.

Throughout his tenure at Palladium Hotel Group, Goodwin played a pivotal role in enhancing strategic accounts, managing tour operations, and driving brand recognition and promotion for the group’s all-inclusive offerings. This included overseeing the adults-only TRS Hotels and the family-friendly resorts spanning Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping the group’s reputation and growth within the hospitality industry.

In addition to devising comprehensive marketing and sales strategies, Goodwin’s responsibilities encompassed preparing and negotiating annual contracts with top wholesale accounts, as well as key wholesale accounts with charter capabilities. His adept management in these areas significantly contributed to the success and profitability of the organization.
