The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) UK & Ireland has raised £35,000 at its annual Christmas charity lunch event.
Each year it holds the event for travel agents, members and guests with food, carol singing, a raffle and auction to raise money.
“My sincere thanks to all the prize sponsors for the raffle and auction, we couldn’t do it without your kindness and support. I am so grateful for the remarkable generosity in the room,” PATA UK & Ireland Chairman Chris Crampton said.
Special guest and donor, Sir Mike Gooley CEO of Trailfinders said: “Well done to all at PATA for another thoroughly enjoyable event and for raising money for Centrepoint. The Mike Gooley Trailfinders Charity is pleased to support such a worthwhile cause.”
